The Museum of World Treasures is a world history museum in Wichita. It opened in 2001 with the collection of Jon Kardatzke. The museum has sections about natural history, military exbibit, American history, and world civilization. It features Egyptian mummies, part of the Berlin Wall, and a Tyrannosaurus-rex.

The museum is located in Old Town Wichita. Admission is adults is $9.95 but children under 3 are free. The Museum of World Treasures will amaze you with this firsthand look at history.

The Kansas Aviation Museum is a breathtaking museum near the McConnell Air Force Base. It contains lots of airplanes including a Republic F-84F Thunderstreak, Lockheed T-33, U-8 Seminole, and 1944 Beech Staggerwing. The museum building used to be the Wichita Municipal Airport terminal.
